A great Pastor once said, “You need to have a skin as thick as a rhinoceros’s and a heart as soft as a dove’s.  You need to take God very seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously.”  That pretty well sums up they way we at Grace baptist Church want to be known.  We want you, first and foremost, to see Jesus Christ in us, and hear His word taught and preached, as we take Him very seriously.  We want to help you begin or develop your walk with God.  As you’ll see on the site we offer various ministries and opportunities to help you find Christ and then grow in faith, hope and love.  When you come and visit, we hope you’ll see that though we take God very seriously, we laugh at our own short comings and foibles.  This group of Christians sing like they mean, pray like God answers, listen like they expect to learn something, and obey like that’s just the kind of thing God would expect.  They’re hard to offend, quick to minister, friendly to stranger or long term member.

One friend said, “When I first saw your website and saw that you published your Articles of Faith right on your site, I thought you guys must be legalists, for sure.”  Actually, we always figure we’d like you to see who we are up front.  There’s nothing worse than a bait and switch scheme.  Plus, we thought the Articles of Faith explain a lot of precious truths from God’s word in a concise amount of space.
